Uganda national team, the Uganda cranes are East and Central Africa senior challenge cup (CECAFA) champions.The Cranes remains the most successful team winning the cup a record 14 times.
The Cranes beat Rwanda Amavubi 1 - 0 to win the cup. The victory lone goal came in the 15th minute from striker Ceaser Okhuti.
It was great joy for Uganda Cranes Coach Milutin Micho Sredojovic who previously coached Rwanda.
Defending champions Harambee Stars of Kenya were earlier eliminated in the cup following poor preparations and possible subotage by players.
