Leader from the neighbour hood of Tanzania including Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda have attended the handing over power ceremony from Former President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete to President Dr. John Pombe Magufuli. they include President Uhuru Kenyatta, President Yoweri Museveni and President Paul Kagame respectively among others.
Nigerian pastor TB Joshua stole the Limelight during the inauguration ceremony. Remember former president Good Luck Jonathan had earlier delivered a speech on how to accept defeat in Africa after he lost elections in Nigeria to new president President Boharri.
He was welcomed by President Magufuli, former president Jakaya Kikwete and Opposition Leader Edward Lowassa.
Tension was however strong in Zanzibar as she accused of Mainland Tanzania of going ahead with power hand over even after she expressed dissatisfaction with the way the elections were handled in Zanzibar Archipelago.
All protocol was observed for a smooth handover power to the new Leader.
Africa and Tanzania can authoritatively say that presidential elections in Tanzania have been concluded as Tanzania now has a new President, the 5th since her independence and coming from the same old political party CCM - Chama Cha Mapiduzi.
