Africa curiously following up with new leadership by President Magufuli in reducing wastage

Tanzania president John Pombe Magufuli is becoming a darling of many African nations from South Africa to East Africa and to the whole of Africa. This follows trend in Social Media such as Twitter where his new leadership seam to be admired by many citizens in Africa. The reason why citizens of African countries according to experts and social media analysis admiration for President Magufuli is reduced wastage and fight against corruption in Tanzania.

Africa remains the least developed Continent in the world but remains to have numerous Natural resources such as Gold, Diamonds, Copper and recently, she has discovered huge deposits in crude oil and gas. The most disturbing thing is that Africa is struggling with poverty, hunger, war, corruption and lack of policies committed towards elevating herself from this human made calamities.

John Magufuli seam to be offering new direction to Africa leadership in what experts think is an answer to Africas leadership problems. He was a strong advocate of reduced wastage in Tanzania and commitment towards eradicating poverty and fight against corruption which was evident in CCM past leadership.

Reduce budgets for official functions in Tanzania

President Magufuli has cancelled some national holidays and said the money will be channeled towards poverty eradicating projects in aim of empowering the poor. Africa is following keenly on his new approach and many believe it is not just a populist scheme, but want him to stick to his new leadership style.

He has cancelled foreign trips and instead empowered Tanzanias foreign missions and Ambassadors in representing his governments interest abroad. He believes frequent travels by Tanzanian Presidents can help save some resources that could be channeled towards development. He has also put a warning towards huge delegates seeking for luxurious travel and accompanied allowances accrued in such missions that those days are over.

Magufuli has since directed foreign travels by civil servants to be unnecessary asking for trainers and such missions to be conducted at home. The trainers should then offer any trainings in Tanzania. This will reduce unnecessary wastage in Tanzania.

The new style of leadership by President Magufuli is what is sending shock waves across Africa and he is seen to be enjoying wide support among Africans as he is seen to be sticking to his election pledges that Tanzanians believe is a positive trends towards tackling corruption and wasteful spending. Many African countries seam to be actively in social media asking their president to emulate Tanzanias president Magufuli
