Arturo Vidal successful transfer to Bayern Munich

Arturo Vidal, the Juventus Midfielder has acquired a new transfer with Germans champions Bayern Munich from Italian champions Juventus.

The Chilean player has just won a series of trophies this year with Juventus, reaching the finals in the champions league as runners up against Spanish champions Barcellona with his club before winning the Copa America with his home Chile national team.

Arturo Vidal played with German side Lavakusen before moving to Italian Series A side Juventus where he had a very successful season.

Arturo Vidal will be replacing German National Team Captain for Bayern Munich Bastian Schweinsteiger who moved to their old rivals Manchester United.

Bastian Schweinsteiger played against Manchester united during the 1999 Ferguson side that surprised German Champions by winning two goals in the last minutes of the champions league beating Bayern Munich 2 - 1 to lift the cup.

The Chilean play maker, Arturo Vidal says he wants to win more cups and Bayern Munich is his choice for a switch.

Arturo Vidal was born in 1987 in Chile.
