According to Gregorian calendar the new year is celebrated at the midnight break ceparating December 31st of the past year and the January 1st of the new year.

After every three years each having 365 days, a new year comes after every 365 days. That is the type of the year that when divided by 4, thevanswer has a reminder, ie ie is a fraction. This meens that by dividing the year by 4, it does not divide to remain as a whole number. Then comes the fourth year of the Gregorian calendar that is fully divisible by 4. This year is called a leap year and has a characteristic of having 366 days.
