Michael Platini and Prince Ali announce interest in FIFA presidential race

Michael Platini seen as a leading contender for FIFA presidential elections to replace Sepp Blatter has Prince Ali join the race.

Platini already has backing of Asia Continent and Ali is already criticizing Platini as bringing nothing new to FIFA.

Prince Ali is a member of the Jordanian royal family and stood in the last election against Blatter.

Blatter was forced to resign after massive corruption allegation in FIFA, that tainted the image of FIFA when he was the president.

The FIFA election are expected to be conducted in February year 2016.

Michael Platini is the legendary French playmaker regarded as one of the top footballer of all times and who helped France win the 1984 European championship being voted the top scorer and best player.

He participated in 3 world cups of 1978, 1982 and 1986 where they reached semi finals in the 1982 and 1986 world cups.
