
The world marks the death of Jesus Christ, a day honoured in the Christian faiths calenda as Good Friday.
This is a very important day according to Christians teachings as death of Jesus signified forgiveness of sin to human race. According to the Gospels, Jesus said that your sins have been forgiven when he was undergoing persecution.
Pontius pilate delivered the verdict that led to the final crusification of Jesus Christ as Jesus was offered a chance to evade crusification. Jesus remined Pontius Pilate that he could not change the verdict as everything was according to the scriptures that Pontius pilate had no mandate.
The annual celebrations are marked accross the world as different denominations held processions marking the suffering that Jesus Christ underwent popularly known as the way of the Cross.
According to the scriptures, Jesus was to be crusified and his death would be to the forgiveness of our sins. That would become the most important momentof human race as Jesus would fulfill the prophecy.
Jesus would remind his mother, the famous woman known as virgin Mary, the mother of Christ, calling her as WOMAN that she should remember her son John, the most loved Disciple by Crist that this is your son. Jesus is known to have reffered to his mother as WOMAN.
Several key events were recorded according to the Gospels marking the journey that Crist took to ultimately being crusified on the Cross including the forgiveness of sins to one of the thief put on the cross, Jesus telling him that today, you will be with me in front of the father as his sins were already forgiven. Other key events that took place after the death of Christ such as the skies turning to darkness were also recorded.
