Nairobi homestays provide accommodation to local and international visitors. Guests arrival via Jomo Kenyatta International airport (JKIA), have an easy access to a selection of our properties. We are open and we welcome those looking for short and long term bed and breakfast and luxury accommodation villas. We cater for guests on business and leisure travel, both as singles or family couples and children.

Our visitors are served with breakfast. Lunch and Dinner can be prepared upon request.

We cook variety of Kenyan-style meals. The cuisine may include ugali, beef stew, chapatti with ndengu - green lentils, pilau - which is a rice dish mixed with coastal spices, meat, barbeque or even buffet for a large group - upon request. A special arrangement will be put based on the kind of meals as desired upon request. We also serve fruits. Enjoy the best prepared cup of tea or coffee and learn the true taste of our popular beverages.

Vegetarian’s will easily be catered to some optional meals or directed to full vegetarian joints, restaurants or resorts on directory around the UNEP region or the city center - Central Business District.

Nairobi National Park: A destination at a glance for visiting a wildlife park with a possibility of spotting the big five (Elephants / Jumbos, Rhinos, Lions, Leopards and Buffaloes) in the neighborhood of the city. This makes the city to be referred to as a green city in the Sun.

Animal Orphanage: A perfect place to view game animals in cages and the endangered species.

Giraffe Centre: A center focused on protecting the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Located 11 kilometers from the CBD.

Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage: Cares for orphaned baby elephants and eventually relocates them to Tsavo National Park. Located 12 kilometers from CBD.

Bomas of Kenya: A place you can learn about the cultural background of the 43 communities tribes of Kenya at a glance. Featured are cultures, languages and ethnicity for Kikuyu, Luo (Dholuo), Luhya, Swahili, Maasai, Samburu, Taita, Miji Kenda, Pokomo, Waliangulo, Hindu, Rendile, Taveta, Meru, Embu tribe etc.

Museum and Snake Park: A place to learn about archaeological works relating to the early man and other East African historical exhibits, exhibits on wildlife, human origins and Kenya’s ethnographic and political history.

Nairobi Gallery: A historical background located at the intersection of Kenyatta Avenue / Uhuru Highway in the heart of the City overlooking Nyayo house, Uhuru Park, Serena hotel and Teleposta Towers. Built in 1913, this was the Old PC’s office building fondly referred to as “Hatches, Matches and Dispatches” because of the births, marriages and deaths that were recorded here at pre-colonial period. The building is now a Monument and serves as a museum holding temporary art exhibitions. Famous are the Murumbi Collection exhibition - The former Countries Vice president who left the high office to concentrate with art work during Jommo Kenyatta rule (First prime minister and first president of this Nation).

Alliance Francaise, Goethe Institute and National Theatre: A cultural centers for Franch, German and Local Languages respectively.They host lectures, theatre events, plays and art exhibits etc. Goethe Institute is located 7.5 kilometers from the CBD while the other two are located in the CBD.

Maasai Mara National Reserve: From the Serengeti in Tanzania, to the Masai Mara in Kenya, the Great Wildebeest Migration attracts thousands of nature enthusiasts, filmmakers and tourists.

The great wildlife migration or the great wildebeest migration is a spectacular happening where each year, almost two million wildebeest and 20,000 plains game animals such as the zebras migrate from Tanzania’s Serengeti to the south of Kenya’s Masai Mara in search of lush grazing grounds and life-giving water. This treacherous odessey is dictated by the seasons and where the rains are, the wildebeest are not far behind. This epic journey from north to south spans almost 3000 kilometres and is virtually endless.

The Masai-Mara Reserve is Kenya's most-visited protected area, world famous for its flora and fauna: its high density of herbivores and predators, and the annual migrations of Wildebees. The Flora is dominated by species of resistant grasses. The rich grasslands are spotted riparian forests and rocky outcrops of dark quartz.

The Fauna include the the Big Five (Rhinoceros, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Elephant and Lion) and the Great Wildebeest Migration.

The Masai Mara wildlife is on permanent show of the large resident herds of herbivores animals that include zebras, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, impalas, topis etc., and their predators that include lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, foxes etc. prevalent all year round. Hippos and large Nile crocodiles are abundant in the Mara River and are among the largest species in Africa.

Large numbers of predators inhabit the Masai Mara and you may witness a hunt, a lion hunting may be which is pretty common in the Mara seldom witnessed in other parts of Africa.

The Wildebeest Migration is one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World” and also known as The World Cup of Wildlife. The Maasai Mara and the Serengeti National Park together form what no other reserve or park in Africa can.

Amboseli National Park: A perfect park to watch the Jumbos or elephants in the open plains and other carnivores and herbivores overseeing the beautiful Mt. Kilima Njaro’s peak of Kibo and Mawenzi. Mt. Kilimanjaro is the tallest ice capped mountain in Africa. Mountaineering and mountain climbing via Marangu and Machame route are also famous activities on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Tsavo East: Referred to as - “Theatre of the Wild” is a perfect place to view and the 300 kilometer long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for a perfect adventure.

Tsavo West: - “The land of Lava, Springs, Man Eaters and magical Sunsets” according to KWS. During the construction of a Railway Bridge by the Imperial British East Africa Company over the Tsavo River in 1898, then known as Ugandan Railway, An approximate 140 railway construction workers were killed by two Maneless male lions. This extended for a period of 3 months, until the first one was finally killed on 9th December, 1898 during a night hunt and three weeks later, the next one was killed in the morning by the chief engineer of the bridge known as John Henry Paterson, nearly costing his life.

Lake Nakuru: Famous for the bird species including the Flamingoes. Available are also the Rhinos and Buffaloes among other herbivores and carnivores such as leopards.

Lake Naivasha and Kakamega forest: popular with bird species and ideal for nature bird lovers and for birding safaris.
